Friday 22nd of March we had our Visitation Day. Parents came to talk to the teachers, and to check on how things were going. The school was filled with people, laughter, good talks and some difficult conversations when the children are struggling. It was good for us all to connect and to see how we can help our children to grow in a better way.
Eric Samson Obuki was one of the parents that came. His three children have been students here since beginning of this year. He had many good words about our school. He could tell us that the children are happy here, and that they are learning and growing in a good way. They appreciate the teachers, and they find the place very good and clean. He recommends the school to other parents, because he sees that the school has a good future. And it might even be a favorite school for the parents in the future. So he recommends parents to bring their children here, and let them grow in the school.
Musima Kamwaka Beatrice is also one of our guardians. She has three grandchildren in our school, and they have been with us since the school started in our temporary building. She told us that she was in a very difficult situation, and couldn’t afford to take the children to school. A neighbor contacted Siita Nest, and the children were given permission to come. She is telling us that because of the help she was given from the organization, her grandchildren are now studying hard, performing well, and they are happy. Because of the good academic performances, the good transport, the nutritious food and the good teachers, she recommends others to bring their children here.
We thank all the parents that came for our Visitation Day, and we hope that next Visitation Day we will have even more parents and students around.
