About us
Siita Nest Nursery and Primary School is a mixed day and boarding Christian school, located in Bugembe Town Council, Jinja district, Nakanyonyi complex. We focus on providing holistic education and follow the National curriculum. The school has got qualified teachers, school van, child friendly environment, and classes from Nursery to Primary Five. It is affiliated to Siita Nest Mother’s Love Home; a non-profit Community Based Organization that supports orphans and other vulnerable children (OVC).

Our History
The school started in year 2016 with a total number of ten (10) children and three (3) staff. It started with a nursery section thus there were three classes that is Baby, Middle and Top class. It has gradually updated to Primary. The Board of Directors of Siita Nest Organization oversees the school alongside the school management committee which is headed by the board member of Siita Nest Organization.

We started on faith while believing God for provision. The school was built on a strong Christian foundation where by the school was covenanted to God and He (God) told us to always follow His instructions in whatever matter. We have always tried to do His will and therefore we believe that the school and everything on, in and about it, is fully His. We shall continue to submit to Him alone and to work as His servants in His vineyard.

In 2016 we started our school in temporary buildings in Katende, Bugembe. But we had already started building our own school. With support from Life Mission Church, Streams of Mercy, YWAM Wylie and some other friends, we were able to almost complete the first part of the building in 2018. In May 2018 we could finally move in, and started using two out of three floors, while the rest of the building was worked on. On October 13th 2018 we had dedication and official opening of the school. Some parts are still to be worked on, and another building is planned for, but we are thankful for what we have.

By the beginning of the school year of 2019 we now have 130 students and 17 staff. We are now using most of our new school building, where we have 11 classrooms, 1 staff room and 3 offices.
