Our Academics

Through the Ugandan curriculum, our academic standards at school continue to improve term to term and year to year. The school is carefully designed to be both accessible and challenging for all students, regardless of their ability. We ensure success for all by providing students with the necessary skills to flourish in an ever-changing and ever-demanding labor market.

Our curriculum will continue to further develop Health,Social Studies and the Christian departments. We believe in a strong sense of continuity between the customs and traditions of Uganda and our teaching practices. Therefore learning by the Ugandan curriculum will be central to our educational practice, while implementing more international modern ideas blended with global learning.

Our Primary Level Academics
Literacy 1
Lower classes in primary have this, and it includes science and social studies.
Science
Here we learn about living and no living things, healthy habits, about our environment and others.
Christian Education
We learn about God and the Bible in this class.
Literacy 2
This includes some English grammar, reading, writing and learning how to use the English language.
Social Studies
Here we learn about location of places, our environment and political education
Computer Studies
P4 and P5 are learning basic understanding of computers, and also some practical use of it.
Mathematics
This includes counting, adding, multiplication, subtraction, division and much more
English Language
This is where we teach vocabulary, grammar and comprehension.
Debate
The children learn how to debate and express their opinions.

Social Development: Here we learn about location of places and our environment.
Learning Area 2
Language Development 1 (English): learn English vocabulary and comprehension.
Learning Area 3
Health Habits: The children Learn how to keep their bodies and the environment clean
Learning Area 4
Numbers (math concepts): We learn to count, recognize numbers, add, subtract and others.

Language Development 2: here we focus on reading and writing, learning sounds and letter formation.
