In October 2018 we had two big days in our school history. On Wednesday 10th of October the whole school partnered with Standard Chartered Bank, St Joseph Secondary School and staff and youth from Siita Nest Mother’s Love Home. We went from our school, down to Bugembe and picked rubbish and made the streets look nice. Then we went to the hospital in Bugembe, and cleaned and made a trench. The goal of this was to do something good for our neighborhood, but also to make people aware of our school.
Then, three days later, on October 13th, we had our school dedication. Different partners from Uganda, USA and Philippines came to celebrate and dedicate the school to the Lord together with us. The children performed, we had many speeches, prayed for the school and celebrated with lunch and cake. Many of our parents and other friends also came to celebrate this day with us.
We thank God for all of you who participated and took part in this big day. Also, we send a big thanks to all of you who contributed towards building the school and making this day possible. We appreciate each one of you very much.
